Biodiversity of interspecific hybrids of the genus <i>Allium</i> L.

Relevance. Interspecific hybridization in the genus Allium L. is best way to increase biodiversity by introgression of desired traits within genus. This valuable for signs such as resistance diseases and pests, accumulation important metabolites, obtaining new sources cytoplasmic male sterility. The creation based on interspecific fundamentally plant forms with unique genetic material makes it possible expand selection genotypes that are practical terms. Methods. To characterize breeding material, plants allium hybrids were evaluated using morphological phytopathological analyses. analysis from various inbred offspring BC1-2 combinations crossing species A. cepa × vavilovii fistulosum characteristics was carried out. Plants studied weight, color, bulb shape, number, height seed stalks, productivity downy mildew. Results. revealed: color bulb; mildew first year vegetation plants; stalk; productivity. formed bulbs weighing up 120 g, white, yellow, brown red, elliptical, broadly round transversely elliptical shape. Phytopathological assessment revealed diversity peronosporosis. In combination had largest number resistant (up 66.7%). According plants, depending crossing, inbreeding generation backcross, highly fertile increased setability 2.0 g /plant) identified. conducted studies have demonstrated an obtained hybridization, backcrosses inbreeding.
